Eileen is from Maryland and her connection to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community began long before she founded Kits Beyond Sound. She grew up surrounded by music; born with perfect pitch, she started piano at 3 and violin at 5. Her dad, who is half deaf, shaped how she understands sound and inspired her passion for creating a community where every form of communication is valued.
Evangeline Lin
Vice President
Evangeline is from Maryland and has loved music since she started piano at age 5. She now continues her passion through both piano and her school choir. Because music is such a big part of her life, she cares deeply about children who are hard of hearing.
Addison Inzerillo
Director of Social Media
Addison is from Florida and has been singing for nearly ten years, including training at Juilliard’s Vocal and Musical Theatre Intensives. Because music is such an important part of her life, she wants to support children who experience sound differently!
Maggie Zampa
Director of Chapter Development
Maggie is from Switzerland, where music was always part of everyday life. Someone was always either practicing, improvising, or humming! Growing up surrounded by sound showed her how music can connect people and bring joy. Maggie wants to help create opportunities for all children to feel supported and understood.
Kaitlyn DiFranco
Director of Design
Kaitlyn is from Canada and studies advanced classical piano through the Royal Conservatory of Music’s certificate program. Music has shaped how she understands and interacts with the world, and it has taught her that not everyone hears or experiences sound the same way. She hopes to use her love of music to uplift children who navigate the world differently.
Tess Chang
Maryland Director of Outreach
Tess is from Maryland and she's always had a passion for music. She grew up taking vocal lessons and now her favorite hobby is playing her guitar and singing! She loves deaf culture, the ASL language, and is driven to support the deaf and hard of hearing community.
Keanu Zeller
Director of Finance
Keanu is from California and has been playing piano for ten years. Because music has brought him so much joy, he can’t imagine a world without sound. By joining this cause, he hopes to help Deaf and Hard of Hearing children experience similar joy in their own ways.
Lena Wu
Maryland Director of Marketing
Lena is from Maryland and has played piano since she was 4 and violin since she was 7. She has been part of many orchestras and loves music as it is a big part of her life. She also enjoys listening to music and wants to make sure that children who experience sound differently can enjoy it too.
Roxy Harding
Director of Chapter Development
Roxy is from England and has been playing the violin since the age of three and is currently studying at the Purcell School of Music. Roxy also plays piano and explores composition. Music has strongly shaped how she understands and connects with the world. She believes that every child deserves the opportunity to experience and connect with it in their own way.
